CCBC Essex Men Race to Division II Cross Country Championship
Hagerstown, Md. The CCBC Essex Men's Cross Country team captured the Division II Region 20 Championship hosted by Hagerstown Community College on October 29. Behind first and second place finishers Kevin Baranoski (26:41.2) and Giles Daley (28:15.8) the Knights held off three other opponents in the race. CCBC also had fifth place finisher, Braden Berkey (29:37.7). CCBC Essex would finish with a team score of 27 points to hold off runner-up Harford Community College. Harford's Austin Comeaux placed fourth with a time of 28:54.6. Keynaud Randolph from CCBC Catonsville placed third, 28:47.8, earning All-Region with the rest of the top five.
Individual participants included runners from WVU Potomac State and Carroll Community College.
The Division II Men's Cross Country National Championship will be held November 12, 2022 at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, FL.
