Prince George's hosting NJCAA Region XX D-III Soccer Championship

LARGO, Md. - Prince George's Community College is hosting the NJCAA Region XX Division III Men's and Women's Championships on Saturday, October 31.

On the women's side of the bracket, the top team in the NJCAA, Oxford (Ga.) College of Emory, will play Potomac State (WV) College at 4pm.  Howard (Md.) Community College will face Montgomery (Md.) College at 6pm.  The women's semifinal games will take place at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Md.

The winners will advance to the championship game on Oct. 31 at 10am at PGCC.

Region XX D-III Women's Tournament Scoreboard

On the men's side, six teams are competing for the Region XX Championship.  The top two teams in the region, Montgomery College and PGCC, will each earn a bye. Meanwhile, the other four teams will play the quarterfinal games at the highest seed. Montgomery is currently ranked eighth in the NJCAA poll and PGCC is ranked No. 10.

The men's semifinals and championship will take place at PGCC.

Montgomery will await the winner of the Howard and Northern Virginia winner. PGCC will face third seeded Anne Arundel or sixth seed Potomac State.

The men's championship game will be at 12:30pm.
