ANNANDALE, VA – Three players recorded 17 points as Northern Virginia Community College defeated AACC, 77-54, in a Region 20 women's basketball matchup.

The host Nighthawks raced out to a 21-7 lead after one quarter and 43-19 at halftime.  They extended their advantage to 53-35 after the third and finished the game scoring 24 in the fourth to give them the 23 point win over the Riverhawks.

Bri'ana Oliver and Dania Taylor led the Riverhawks scoring 14 points apiece, and Jasmine Wallace posted 11 points.

The Riverhawks next matchup will be away at Frederick Community College against the host Cougars.  Tip-off scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
