Catonsville, MD- The Cardinals were able to pull off a close victory against the Lynx.
It was a no-scoring contest up until the second half when Muhammed Maroof chipped in a goal at the 67th minute mark for the Cardinals. The Cardinals were presented with many opportunities to extend the lead throughout the game with a total of twenty three shots and only fifteen on goal. Carroll Community College, however, struggled to find the back of the net with only five shots total in the contest.
The Cardinals will hope to improve upon their record when they travel to Chesapeake College on Thursday, September 12th at 4:00pm.
