Catamounts split another pair with USC Sumter

Sumter, SC- In an almost identical script to the previous day, Potomac State split a pair of games with USC Sumter Sunday afternoon.

After dropping the opener by a score of 5-3, the Catamounts pulled off a one-run win over the Fire Ants by a score of 3-2.

Ben McDougal picked up the win on the mound with four innings of work.  The freshman struck out four and allowed just on unearned run to pick up his first college win.  

Chris Curler worked the final three innings to pick up the save.

Nik Rubendall and Kris Sutton each drove in a run for PSC.

Brandon Osypczuk hit a solo home run for Sumter.

In the opener, Jarian Pinckney and Niko Laing each homered for Sumter.

PSC got RBI's from Dakota Miller, Diego Barrett and Cam Cole.
