Carroll hosted their first home tournament at Oakmont Green on Thursday, finishing in third place.

"Despite the finish, we were able to come in with a lower score than our previous match" stated Head Coach Kevin Piecewicz. The Lynx finished with a total score of 347, one stroke better than their score at South River where they placed second. He continued, "As a coach, I can't ask anything more of the team.  I'm happy with the consistency that I'm seeing from everyone.  We're looking forward to keeping the improvement going as we head into our match next week at a very challenging course."

Nathan Leppo led the Lynx once again, shooting 84 through eighteen. Leppo's round is highlighted by a 38 on the back nine, which was the second lowest by any golfer on Thursday. Other notable performances include Evan Appleby, Zach Taylor, and alternate Cameron Selmer, who all shot under 90. This amount (4) doubles the amount of sub 90 scores Carroll saw at South River.
