Game Notes

              The Riverhawks had a tough match-up against the NJCAA DI Bears out of Region XIX, but played extremely well in the first half, outshooting Harcum 7-5 after the first 45 min.

              An unfortunate own goal off a Harcum corner kick would break the 0-0 score, giving the Bears the 1-0 lead. After the own goal, the Riverhawks seemed to lose the same rhythm they had in the first half that was allowing the momentum to play in their favor. Some small slip-ups, capitalized on by the Bears would allow them to find the net two more times, and claim the 3-0 win over the Riverhawks.

              The Riverhawks next match up is another NJCAA DI team this time out of their own Region XX – the Skipjacks of Chesapeake College. The match will be played at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, MD – scheduled for 4:00 pm on Tuesday September 5^th.
