CCBC Essex Sweeps Men's and Women's Division II Soccer Championships

Dundalk, MD. The CCBC Essex men's and women's soccer teams each claimed victory in their respective Region 20 tournament concluding on October 29. 

In the men's tournament, the Knights defeated Frederick 5-1 to earn the region title and also win the Mid-Atltanic District Championship. The Region Championship is the 11th straight for CCBC Essex. The third ranked CCBC Essex represent Region 20 at the Division II National Tournament in Tucson, AZ November 14-19.

CCBC Essex def. Frederick 5-1

On the women's side, CCBC Essex defeated College of Southern Maryland 3-1 to earn the Division II Region 20 title. With the victory the Knights will host Sussex County on November 5 in the Northest District Championship. That game will be played at CCBC Dundalk. The winner will advance to the Division II National Tournament in Tucson, AZ November 14-19.
